How to spend my iTunes credits?

DH and I were given some iTunes gift cards for Christmas.  He as selected a few things and wants me to find some stuff too.  I haven't bought new music in forever and don't want to just buy the same old stuff...

Help me out and recommend some great music for me!

I tend to go for quirky (TMBG or Jonathan Coulton), folky (Dar, John Denver), Broadway, 50's doowop...  I really like to sing along :)  It's a plus if you think my girls will like it too!

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals

Were my two new bands in 2010!  Take a listen and see if you like.  Avett Brothers is more folky, Grace Potter is kind of 70's rocker throwback.  Like Heart before they went bad. My DD, 5, loves them both.
