What can I use jars and containers for?

Any ideas, creative and/or practical, for using glass jars and other reused containers?  I have jars of assorted sizes, as well as plastic yogurt containers, margarine containers, etc.

What can I do with them all?

We love jars here

We put everything in them - dried pasta, granola, wooden spoons for the kitchen, pens and markers, buttons, glitter glue...

You can cover the plastic containers in pretty contact paper so you can use them for little things. Don't know what. I use jars with black lids for al of my grains. I have them lined up and use them to store stuff that comes in plastic bags inside of boxes like quinoa, quinoa flakes, oat bran, steel cut oats, popping corn, rice, baking soda, which is actually for scrubbing dishes, sunflower seeds, raisins and pancake mix. I love how they look lined up. We searched for a pasta sauce without any sugar or HFCS just basics like tomatoes, herbs olive oil and garlic. One of the qualifications was a solid colored lid so I could reuse them.
