DD will be one year old in a couple days, and for the last week she has suddenly given up napping.  Seriously, just like that.

She sleeps very well at night - usually for about 11 hours. She'll go down around 8:30 - 9:00 and gets up in the morning around 8. She rarely wakes up in the middle of the night and sleeps in her crib. Until recently she was napping every afternoon from around 1:30 to 3 or 3:30, at least 1.5 to 2 hours. Now for the last week she simply will not take a nap. I know she's tired, she is fussy and constantly rubbing her eyes, but she just won't sleep. If I put her in her crib and walk away she'll just stand up and bounce and call "mama mama mama" continuously - she doesn't cry, just whines and yells incessantly til I return. If I try to lay with her in our bed for a nap she just crawls all over me and refuses to settle down.

I was hoping that this was just a short-lived thing, but it's been a week now and no improvement. It's driving me crazy because her nap time is the only time I get to myself all day to take a shower and just relax, so now we are both cranky! By dinnertime she is an exhausted wreck and won't let me put her down, so making dinner has been extremely difficult and we've been eating leftovers and takeout all week, which also sucks! I even tried an earlier bedtime last night, she did go down at 8 and got up around 7:30, but it's 2:30 now and she is still nowhere close to taking a nap. I have her in the doorway jumper trying to wear her out, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Has anyone had this happen before? Does anyone have any ideas of things I can do to try to get her to nap again? She is already tired and fussy and the whining is getting to me.
