Tailbone or Hipbone KILLING Me!

I am midway through my 31st week.  About a week ago, my tailbone or hipbone or SOMETHING started feeling pretty sore.  It's where I think the tailbone is, only a little to the left.  Anyhow, the first day it was sore, the next day it was getting difficult to walk, and by the third day I was limping around like an elderly woman and wincing with pain whenever I stood up or moved, or twisted, etc.  I booked an appointment with my chiropractor and went in the next day, and could barely walk to the office!  I had to move ridiculously slowly in order to be able to even handle getting there.  It improved maybe a tiny bit by the next day, but it is still super sore and I have to walk SO slowly and it hurts so bad whenever I move.  What's going on?  And how can I get rid of this pain?  I pay $40 per chiropractor visit so I'd like to NOT have to be going in TOO often, yikes!  I got a free pregnancy massage for Christmas so I will be able to use that sometime soon which hopefully will help!  I'm also worried because I can't exercise and I want to keep up my fitness for when labor arrives!  I want to be in shape for childbirth, and also if my butt is feeling this sore when I give birth, I don't think I'm going to be able to manage it!  I HAVE to find a cure for this problem!

Could it be sciatic nerve pain?  If you're saying tailbone, that seems a little centralized, but if it feel like it is deep inside and especially if it shoots down into your leg, it could be.  Does it seem like it could be nerve pain?  What did the chiro say?

It might be pelvic pain, not hip or back pain. I deal with this, too, especially climbing stairs or when I bend or twist. Doing my Bradley pelvic rocks help SO much. Here is an old thread that describes how to do them. They are especially nice before bed; they help me sleep better and with less pain. It

It also helps me to have DH put his hand right on the small of my back as I do these so I can focus on that point.
