Started Mapp class tonight - and connected with a birthmom

I've been a lurker. This forum is such a great wealth of information!

My husband and I started our first MAPP class tonight. We are pursuing Foster-to-Adopt.

I get home and have an e-mail from a birthmom. She is interested in us. At this point, all we have done is tell family and friends and pass out "hoping to adopt" cards. I am optimistic and scared all at the same time.

I just needed to share with someone. I know this could turn out to be nothing.

I just subscribed to your blog after reading through.  We are about to start the journey to adopt too!  We also have two boys and have always wanted to foster/adopt.  Now seems like the right time!  I will be following your journey as we begin ours :)  blessings!
