Didn't find your post anywhere else, so I'm replying here, hope you find me!

For me & my husband, we've been just using spermicide. I like the VCF, the film. There's also foams, jellies, creams, various types of goo. I like it because, no hormones, can buy it at the drug store or grocery store or target (no doctor visits), nothing to wash afterward, and use only as needed (unlike the IUD that's always in use or pills that are taken every day).

I've been on the mini pill and it decreased my supply, even though that's not a common side effect, it can happen.  I'm planning to go on the mirena IUD in the next month or two, which I hate the thought of, but I have to do something to decrease the heaviness of my cycles too.  I've always gotten unintentionally pregnant (twice in 4 years) using condoms and infrequency, my preferred method :)
