I don't watch much television, but last night I saw this show and watched it and was completely appalled at the ethics of this show. I cannot believe that Discovery Channel is supporting this type of so called entertainment.

I just cannot believe people are watching this. It's about six men who go to Alaska to look for gold, but they choose an untouched, pristine, beautiful location and plow thru and and destory the whole area digging for gold. Then they kill an innocent black bear for no reason, it was not threatening them or harming anyone, just sniffing around for food when one of the people left out crackers, the men also were stealing water from a local spring... I understand that we need water/and food etc, but the attitude and lack of respect for nature on this show is just really not acceptable.
So many things about this show that bother me, that I plan on writing the producers but doubt much will be done as it's getting rave reviews.

Suprisingly enough, I was researching Discovery Channel and found they also own Animal Planet and Planet Green, but it seems they aren't doing anything green in this show, nor for the wildlife that live in that area.
