New Year's Resolutions

Thread Starter

I don't usually do new year's resolutions. I'm more like "Well, I can make a good resolution anytime I want". But this year I decided to take a few resolutions I believe I can stick to.

-No alcohol for a year (except a couple of glasses of wine with dinner occasionally)
-No tobacco for a year. (I'm only an occasional smoker)
-No coffee or black tea for a year (unless I'm driving late, at that point it's for safety. Sometimes I have to drive back late from the city)
-No conventional soda for a year
-Yoga 3x a week
-Keep my kitchen clean
-No conventional meat for a year
-Be as nice as I can be to ds's father (my ex)
-Write 1 letter/card every other week (at least) to my family
-Learn Non-Violent Communication
-Write a gratitude journal daily.
-Avoid disposable beverage containers, to go food containers, and plastic bags as much as possible.
-compost as much kitchen waste as possible (I already do though)
-recycle more

I have a couple more too, but they're more personal.

Feel free to share your new year's resolutions if you want. I feel that if I put it out there, I'm more likely to do it.

I just have one and it's to think more positive thoughts.  I figure everything else will fall into place after that.  Hope you're doing well on your journey!
