This is really starting to drive me up the wall. When he's awake, it's no problem, he nurses and gets back to whatever he was doing. When he's going down for a nap, or to go to sleep at night, he will. not. let. go. I have to lie there with him for sometimes an hour with my boob in his mouth. If I gently pull away, he wakes up and starts whining and fussing. At first I thought he was cluster feeding again, but now I realize it's just comfort nursing. He's probably got another tooth coming in or something, or maybe he misses DH because he has been working a lot of overtime, but I am going to go crazy. Nap time was when I had a few minutes to myself. Bedtime was when I had an hour or two to get things done, and I mean things I CAN'T let go, like paying bills. He's also waking up at night way more frequently, sometimes every hour. Without DH around, I don't know what to do. He absolutely refuses a pacifier even though he used to take one. I need a break!!

I have no help for you but DS is convinced he cannot sleep without being latched on if I am in the house. He is fine at daycare and will not take a paci but I think he just wants my comfort at all other times.
DH ends up doing all the dishes and laundry during the week since I have maybe an hour each night that I am not nursing and that is when I cook, eat, and prep bottles for daycare.
