It amazes me how it gets worse every week. Pretty interesting to watch that sort of thing. :lol

The embryo's are definitely of JJ and Wanda. Remember how Wanda went mute and moved in with Bill's fams?  When Nikki got the good news phonecall that she was pregnant and went to go get checked (read: implanted), Wanda finally spoke up and told Bill that JJ was implanting people with her eggs and his sperm and had been doing so for years.  That's why the whole incest weirdness came up, but they didn't go anywhere with that storyline.

I actually am happy to see Rhonda.  I'd been wondering what happened to her.  I think how they're writing the story is stupid, though, but that's to be expected at this point. :lol  Her guy and Alby will definitely sleep together before the season is over.

I'm glad Don didn't die.  That was hecka dumb.

They're not focusing too much on Juniper Creek now that Bill is in the Senate.  But, when his mom goes back to the compound, I imagine we'll see more of Joey and Wanda.

Gawd, I hope Barb leaves Bill.

While I agree the story line has gotten rather silly, I do think it's interesting how they are systematically stripping Barb of the aspects of her identity.  First she ends up in a plural marriage, then the excommunication, then her children leave, she has no real hope for a job given the controversy surrounding them, her ideas on her faith are evolving and now even her legal marriage to Bill which she takes very seriously is going away.  She will be nothing but one of three spiritual wives married to Bill, a concept which seems shaky to her to begin with (I mean her faith in that concept isn't as strong as say Nikki's).  It will be interesting to see if they have her break under this strain or if she ends up being a very different person.

I think Barb is very strong and they've shown that aspect of her over and over, again.  The one issue I've always had with Barb is that when it comes to Bill, she is just plain weak.  She allows her love for him to cloud her judgment (from my perspective, anyway) and ends up being put in situations that alienate her from people she cares about. 

Classic abusive relationship drama.

Unfortunately, many of us women don't have the language and/or understanding to just say, "Barb is in an abusive relationship."  We may see it that way, but many of us don't understand that it is that way, by definition.  Its not just that we feel that way about it or think that way about it.  She is in an abusive relationship.  Period.

So, she will either choose to stay or she will choose to leave.  It looks like she is seeing Bill with clarity for the first time in a long, long time.  And, it looks like she is choosing to leave.  The best thing about it, from my perspective, is that he has systematically removed everything from their life together and has now suggested divorce his own self, so the only thing she has to look at is herself.  She needn't worry about her kids, her job, her church, even her soul, now that she feels she is a priesthood holder as well. 

So, everything she has told herself was a reason to stay has been removed and she is free to leave.

I only hope they will show her continue to grow in her own self-love enough to do so. 

Barb is not a victim.  She is a person in a situation.  And, she can choose to leave or choose to stay, just like so many of us who have found ourselves in similar situations, similar storylines.

Well, I think that Barb, Bill and Margene are basically the victims of Nikki. Nikki is just insane with all the lying and manipulating. All this plural marriage stuff started when she came to take care of Barb when she had cancer. I just don't see anything to love in her and that has always been a huge obstacle for me in seeing this family as "real". As far as I'm concerned the writers never made her character lovable at all.

 Wow I totally agree with this and didn't know how to say it. I felt so betrayed for her when Bill asked her for a divorce. The balls (uh, can I say that on here) on that guy... he is totally out of control.  I think he's going to be humbled by the end of the show and respect his wives and family more.

DH says that the only way the season can end is if Bill dies and Barb becomes the leader of the family. I don't see it that way. I really think that Barb is going to remain with the family. I think that by her saying "We need a divorce" or whatever she said in the last scene of the episode is her taking control of her situation. I like it. Dance and drink your wine, you crazy priesthood holding rebel you, Barb!

Nikki could use a good slap in the face. I think her daughter is going to be the one to do it, and she's totally hooking up with her teacher.

I think Margene is going to be coming to terms with her faith. I think that' s where they are going with this Gonji juice thing.

This show has been spiraling out of control for the last season but I think I'm going to like where the show ends. I'll wait for it to sort itself out.

Given the way this show is written (fairly poorly), I agree it's likely the daughter is hooking up with the teacher but...it seems like an alternative is that he is going to help her make a lot of problems for the family--drawing more negative attention to them.  He could encourage her to become emancipated for example and that could be a big public thing (getting her away from this horrible lifestyle she lives in, etc.).

I was seriously hoping that scene with Nikkis daughter and her teacher was a dream sequence.  I was waiting for it to cut to her waking up or coming out of a daydream in class or something.  EWWWWWWWW!!!!!! And here Nikki didnt want her dating a boy her own age.  Was that all meant to be as ironic as it is? 

Nikki needs to be shot.  Seriously.  The way she can swivel her words and turn them on a dime is making me dizzy. 

I for one am getting this inkling that Bill is gonna end up assassinated towards the end of the series, with barb taking over as profit.  Now that would be a twist not many see coming, eh?

I don't even know what to say about this show anymore. Last night, DH and I just rolled our eyes. Seriously, Rhonda? A dancer at an adult club and now she's going to hook up with her sort of relative. That part doesn't bother me though. I see Rhonda in a different light this season. I kind of...like her and want good things to happen for her.

I think I am the only person on the planet that just really likes Nikki. DH doesn't get it. He "yells" at her every episode.

I don't like this teacher storyline. I was also waiting for her to wake up because I thought she'd be daydreaming. It's so cliche and I think kind of unrealistic. Nikki keeps such a tight eye on her daughter that we're expected to believe the daughter is lately always missing in action, doesn;t answer mama's calls but can get away saying she was playing Scrabble with Margene? I just get a bad vibe about the teacher. I think he's coming across as this good guy but is using Carol-Lynne. If he was a good person I think he'd stay away. I just have a feeling things are about to get soap-operaish. Someone will see Carol-Lynne with the teacher and tell then all heck will break loose.

I don't want to see Bill assasinated but the new prophet of Juniper Creek.

I can't take Barb anymore. I wish she would have been up front with Nikki about the financial aspects of things instead of acting like it was just easier for things to stay the same. Bill deals with Nikki like he has no idea who she is and what she's about. How many episodes left until this thing is over?

Thats a great poiint about Bill with Nikki.  Bill to Nikki:"You should be ashamed of yourself." REALLY BILL?  You act like this the first time Nikki has said something offensive?  What exactly did you EXPECT when she found out she wasnt REALLY going to be wife #1?  (Which come on. thats what shes wanted from the start, and probably will come out that is why she took on this marraige to begin with.  She probably thought Barb wouldnt survive her cancer!)

I know my responses have been jumbled, but it kind of matches whats going on with the show, does it?  LOL  A jumbled MESS! 

Rhonda annoys the peters out of me.  Her constant lying, manipulating, doe-eyed nonsense makes me want to scream.  Kind of like Nikki.  And Ben?  Im sorry, but that kid is just an AWFUL ACTOR.  That constant I-just-swallowed-a-bug look on his face screams "I CANT ACT!".  (Of course, who am I to judge, i havent acted a day in my life!)

You know I actually turned it off mid watching and came very close to deleting my season pass for it. I ended up watching the rest of the episode just because I know this is the last season. But this show is just such a mess of desperation.

And is there a tv show ever made that does not at one point have a strip club scene? It's just rediculous at this point.

Yeah, I'm only watching now b/c it's the last season and I want to know how it ends.  Kinda like I was doing with LOST only this is waaaaaay worse than LOST. LOL

Sad. Disgusted.  I'm embarrassed I encouraged other people to watch this show.  Granted that was a couple years ago when it was good, but still...sheesh!

I love Barb.  I can't believe y'all aren't digging Barb!  She's finally standing up for herself!  Maybe I see too much of the old me in her and that's all.  I hope Marjene goes for the Goji guy.  She deserves more than what Bill is offering, IMO.  They all do.

Well, maybe except for Nikki.  She and Bill deserve each other. LOL! 

Ben.  Poor, sad, pathetic Ben.  When is Barb going to stop worrying about that man and raise her children?!  I get so upset that she misses how her kids reach out to the wrong people and make poor decisions because they need more guidance.  She's always got her head so far up Bill's butt that her children just get lost in the shuffle.  Ugh.  She's making progress, though.  I'm happy for that.

So I learned something a couple days ago that made my jaw drop. Daveigh Chase (the one plays Rhonda) did the voice of Lilo in Lilo and Stitch. Such a clash in personalities between the two characters!!!

Agree, the show is a trainwreck. I'm rooting for Barb. What's this bs about women not having the priesthood? So what, all the men die and remaining women wouldn't get into Heaven because they don't have man to vouch for them?! I really dislike those types of rules. 

Nikki and Bill do deserve each other. I hope that whatever happens, Margene and Barb stay close. Hey, maybe they'll end up as a couple. You never know what the writers will come up with next.
