I'm kinda glad there are only 3 more episodes.  This show needs to die already.

Yeah if there is only 3 episdoes left, I don't see a happy ending for this family. That makes me sad.

The only television show ending I've ever been satisfied with was Six Feet Under.  I like to know EXACTLY what happens to the characters I've grown to love.

The Gilmore Girls series finale was good.

Yes, 6 Feet Under was spectacular. I tear up just thinking about it; the music, the way they all lived/died, the way that death comes to everyone eventually... so sad, so moving. BEST ending EVER.

I agree, six feet under had the best finale ever- it was perfect!

Okay, I'm super lame but I'm glad it's getting dramatic.  I'd determined to enjoy the last two episodes and hope they pull off some killer conclusions.  I do hope they find a way to tell us what happens to everyone long term.  I can't help but care about the characters after all these years.

Last night DH and I were waiting for one of the characters to go to outer space. That's how silly I think the show was. It's all over the place and they're trying to clear up a lot of loose ends in a short amount of time. I really felt for Marg though. THey never take her seriously and she just wants to do something that makes her happy and gives her a sense of purpose. With each episode, I keep changing how I want the show to end.

The other senator who really wants Bill out...I can't remember his name. Maybe I noticed before but his face looked really swollen last night. I hope he's not sick in real life.

Anyway, two more episodes and I'm ready for it to end. I can't believe such a great show has been reduced to such poor writing and out of this world storylines. I don't even know what to say about Nikki's reaction to Carolynn and the teachers affair.

So I've stopped watching the show for now.  After reading what you ladies wrote last week I couldn't bring myself to watch the show I'd downloaded.  My plan is to read along with this thread then watch the last 4 shows after the season finale.  It's too difficult to watch/slog through the confusing mess right now. So thanks for the re-caps. :)

i'm surprised alby *didn't* shoot nikki - anyone else? that would have been one storyline tied up....

I was actually expecting Albie to get killed in that exchange to set up the possibility of Bill coming in as the new "prophet."

Me too... I don't mind the drama at all, I just don't want them to force an ending.... I want it to make sense. Know what I mean? Even if I don't love the storyline thus far.... I just want the nonsense that has been going on to be logically resolved.

ETA... I don't want to think back on this show and wonder what happens next.

And why is Albie so gross? I was expecting him to make Nikki his wife or something equally as icky.

I'm always waiting for those two to kiss or something.  The vibe they give off when they are together is insane.

I also thought that Albee would get killed and Bill would have jumped on board as the new, improved Prophet.  I saw it happening so clearly in my head!

Seriously?  At this point, if they end the final episode with Barb waking up with no hair, and Nikki is bending over her, feeding her soup, and it was all a chemo-induced nightmare...I'd be OK with that.  Especially if Barb screams, "Get out of my house!" and then the credits roll.

ROTFLMAO.gif I like that idea for an ending!

My own theory is mass suicide. Or Lois poisons then all to put them out of their misery. Wait, was it Lois poisoning people in the beginning or Wanda? I can't keep track.

Being serious though, I really felt bad for Nikki! Crazy as she is, that would have been terrifying! I was so hoping the other guy would take down Albie. Whatever happens, I hope he either goes to jail or dies. He's too creepy to have out loose in the world, even if he is a fictional character...

It was Wanda, and i think that is what is supposed to be sooooo ironic about it all.

It was in season 1, i believe, that Bill came to find alby poisoned by wanda and dying in her house (that is how they found out it was her that poisoned Frank) And Bill moved mountains to make sure Alby didnt die.  And look where we are now.  UGH! Shoulda let the creep shrivel.  lol  (No flames, I only say that because these are CHARACTERS hehe)

I know its tough, ladies.  But can we commentate something about last week?/

I know a few times, my jaw literally dropped.  When Nikki confronted Carolanne was one time.  Are they trying to show how Carolanne as become exactly like her mother?  Selfish, manipulative, controlling, and decitful?  lol

And did it feel like Bill taking over Juniper creek, or tearing it down as it were, kinda came out of nowhere?

And Ben, oh dear ben.  What the heck was THAT?  I can be with both of you?  REALLY?
