Temperature drop in 6th week of pregnancy?

I was feeling a little under-the-weather today so I took my temperature to rule out a fever, only to discover that my temperature is really low--like only 0.1 F above highest pre-ovulatory temp, according to the chart I kept until pregnancy was confirmed.  I'm six weeks along today but everything else seems fine.  I haven't had any spotting and have felt the usual pregnancy symptoms.  My first midwife appt is not for 2 more weeks.  Should I be worried that this temperature drop could indicate a miscarriage is in the near future?  Anyone else experience lower-than-expected body temps in the first trimester?

You absolutely should NOT compare your temperature during the day to your Basal Body Temperature, pregnant or not.  Everyone's temp naturally fluctuates throughout the day.  Its like comparing the height of the tide at different times of the month and then claiming someone is draining the oceans away.   winky.gif

And even if it was a BBT temp it isn't a diagnosis of anything.

Thanks for the reassurance.  I think I'm just paranoid because 2 of my 5 pregnancies thus far have ended in miscarriage :(  But I think I need to just stop freaking out about things and relax!
