C-Section Rates

Not sure where to post this but hoping someone can help!

I have been told my numerous douals and midwives that statistics show that incidences of c-section rise on fridays/weekends or before holidays.  Has anyone seen a study, research, or numbers to back this up?

I tried googling it, found a lot of articles that state that fact, but none that I could find the citing on.  I believe they use birth statistics to come up with that fact.

I know the c-section rate is higher on Fridays and Tuesdays in a lot of areas because of a high rate of planned c-sections.
