Third pregnancy- getting big fast, and feeling extra tired?

So, at 13 weeks, my fundal height is measuring high... I've never measured off in either of my previous pregnancies (even when DD was diagnosed with IUGR, I still measured right on). I'm also feeling SO tired still, and just overall not that great... What's going on? My MW isn't too worried about the measuring big yet, but I can't help being worried about it, because I really want a home birth this time, and twin HB w/ a midwife isn't legal in CO... I have a referral from my family doc for an u/s, so I could go get one, but I don't know if I see the point, when I'll be going for one in a few weeks for the anatomy scan anyway... Plus, after my experience last time (finding out baby had a birth defect at 28 weeks), I'd rather enjoy a "normal" pregnancy as long as possible, like I was able to last time...

Has anyone measured big early on and had it normalize later? Is it just normal to be bigger in the third pregnancy?

I did get bigger faster in my third and now in my fourth pg.  I was so big this time that my regular dr asked me if I thought it was twins -- it's not.  I showed super early, but now at 26 weeks I am actually measuring a tiny bit small.  I guess your bodies just remember what to do *really* well someitmes!  The exhaustion was worse this time also, I think it is harder to be taking care of 2 or 3 kids and be pg at the same time.

I did have an u/s to rule out twins at 7 weeks.  TBH, i wasn't completely 100% convinced there weren't two in there until the anatomy scan at 20 weeks, but ymmv.

Yeah, I'm definitely not convinced that it's just one baby... especially because I had an u/s less than a week before getting pg (to double check on ovarian cysts I had been having problems with) and it showed two follicular cysts, both almost at the same stage of development, so both of them could have potentially been released... TBH I would totally consider having a HB anyway, with twins, but the thing is, if I have the u/s and it shows twins, my options for having anyone attend my birth would be severely (as in, entirely) limited at that point, unless I go to a different state...

My 3rd is when I started measuring big too.  I had us with him and with #4 because of that.  Both times no twins and everything else was normal so I just figured I measure big.  Now I know I will be huge (4-6 weeks ahead) and thats normal for me.  BTW, I am super tired early on, when my ms is knocking me for a loop.  It usually gets better in the 2nd tri, just in time for me to get tired again in the 3rd lol.

Honestly, if you have twins, what are the chances you won't find out before the birth?  Wouldn't you want to know earlier so you could plan rather than be told closer to the end that you can't have your hb?  I know I would.
