my maternity clothes are loose (i've lost 30 of 55 lbs since birth), but my regular clothes are TOO small. i hate to buy more clothes! i wish i could go to the gym, but i haven't left my babe for any length of time yet, feeding still on demand. and the gym is a 30 minute drive each way, plus workout time...what am i saying? i'm too tired to work out anyway!! *ugh*
really tired of maternity clothes!!
I'm in the same boat even though I'm 1lb BELOW my pre-preg weight. My pre-preg clothes don't fit yet but maternity clothes are big. My only saving grace are the scoop-neck & v-neck tees i bought at Motherhood at the end of smmer. They look like non-maternity but stretch enough for nursing that they dont stretch out with repeatedly pulling them up.
i'm in my 1st trimester things - under-belly jeans are ok now. my pre-preggo jeans don't even pull up over my thighs! (i gain a booty during my pregnancies) i have an appointment to consign most of my maternity clothes tomorrow but can't let go of all of the bottoms yet.
i am counting on my michael jackson Wii game to help me bridge that gap! ;)
I coughed up the money for glamourmom tank tops. I figure it is still cheaper than formula I wear those with low-rise maternity pants or one of my wrap skirts. Looking forward to when I can wear a cute zippy jacket or button down sweater with those again...I like my tops form fitting so of course none of my pre pregnancy tops fit!
I am 10 pounds from pre pregnancy weight...and that does not appear to be "melting" off so I probably need to cut back on sweets.
Definitely invest in nursing tanks. Especially if you are going to have more kids. I still have some from DS1 and now I got more for Christmas. I figure I will be nursing for 3 more years and my Bravado tanks rock. In the winter, I wear them under a shirt or sweater so I don't have to buy nursing tops or have an exposed belly. Belly bands work for that as well.
