What does your dream kitchen look like?

We are planning a kitchen remodel and cook gluten-free and with traditional foods. I was curious to hear from others what their dream kitchens would look like.  Any online links, book recommendations, photos of your own kitchens yummy.gif, etc.  appreciated!

I'm definitely less into how it looks and more into how it will function for us.  We eventually want to homestead and are headed in that general direction, obviously trying to be eco-friendly in the remodel as much as possible too.

We plan to incorporate a woodstove in the design somehow, since we know for sure we will be removing a wall that leads to the living room, creating more of an open space.  We have a raised-ranch and the kitchen is going to expand into the dining area and the living area somewhat, and pretty much take over the whole upper floor!  We can't move/remove windows and doors, so it will mostly be free-standing, since we have 2 exterior doors and 2 large floor-to-ceiling windows to work around.

Any ideas are welcome!! Things you love about your kitchen, things you hate, things you wish you had, gadgets... etc!

i guess this isn't really part of the kitchen but does have to do with kitchens.  I would LOVE to have a large root cellar for putting all of my canned things in!

I would also really want as much counter space as humanly possible.    I would like to have one of these http://www.potracksource.com/derepotra.html .  Pretty high countertops (because husband and I are tall).  Two large sinks, one on an island and one close to the stove.  Lots of storage to hold large and awkward appliances, like dehydrator, and food processor.

I could really go on and on about what I want in a kitchen!  I love cooking and fantisize often about things I want in it! :)
