Finally convinced DH!!!

I am currently pregnant with #2 and in the case that baby is a boy, I am so glad that I now dont have to fight DH on this issue. Originally I agreed that he could make the decision (when I was pregnant with #1). Now that I'm more educated on this, I am so glad she was a girl. And now I have the chance to save my son form this if we have one.
I directed DH to the "Moms who have regretted circumsion" thread here and after just a few posts, he got the point and agreed that we wont do it!!! It's so funny cause then he got adament that we tell everyone of our decision so that some Dr. doesnt come in and do it without our consent.

Just had to share!

:LOL

That's so great that some men can see the logic and reason so easily when presented the truth. Three cheers for him and for your baby should it be a boy! They will both benefit from his open mindedness.

So proud of you and your dh Yay for you and especially your future sons....be careful, and don't let your baby out of your sight at the hospital.

Congrats, Mom2Cora!
And congrats to your hubby for being open-minded about an issue that is quite personal.
BTW, just because you had a daughter as #1 child, doesn't mean she won't learn from your good example
My girls learned about it early and are now strong advocates for intact babies!
Again, many congratulations!

Congratulations! What a wonderful feeling of relief! I remember I convinced my hubby just 2 days before I ended up with an emergency c-section at 37 weeks. I'm so glad I convinced him in time!

Good for you! I hope it's a boy! Also, if you're going to the hospital I'd be extra careful protecting your little guy's foreskin. I've heard of babies being circed by mistake. Not to scare you, just to warn you. There are newborn t-shirts that say NO CIRC on them for this purpose.

Thanks for sharing the good news!

That's great! It wasn't hard to convince my DH after all of my research, he was a little concerned at first but now he's glad we didn't do it.
