We've always seen improvements within 24 hours after removing a trigger, but if it's a bad reaction it sometimes takes a couple weeks to *fully* clear. Â Also, if you're dealing with multiple foods, you might not see improvements when you just remove one food, if there's still another food trigger in the diet. Â (Like if your LO is allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy- and you remove dairy. You might notice a small improvement, but not a whole lot and think that dairy isn't the problem, when in fact it's just one of multiple problems.)

eta: Â Just read your other thread. Â I think it would be totally pointless to try a medication AND do a food elimination at the same time, because then if symptoms improve you'll have NO idea why. Â Reflux is often caused by food allergies anyways, so I would start by eliminating foods and see if that helps.

Also- make sure to keep a detailed food journal so that you can start looking for patterns with foods/symptoms!
