DD1 (a very helpful 4.5 yo who STILL does not get that she has to ask mommy FIRST before giving food to the baby) gave DD2 a juice cup (plastic sippy) that had about 1 oz of unfiltered apple juice in it from SEVERAL days ago...she said she found it under the couch (I was wondering where it went). DD2 drank the whole thing (hello?! Didn't she realize it tasted bad?!). The cup smells so nasty...like gross apple wine or something.

Dangerous? Are we looking at a night in the ER from something like this or should we just call it "fermented foods!" and be happy? :-)

She's fine...I'm guessing she drank it about 30 minutes before I discovered what had happened. She's been playing in her playpen happily and just nursed and had some fresh(!) apple juice just now.

Reassurances appreciated...or...you know...advice to call poison control. That's okay too if it's warranted. :-)

Thanks.
