? about dehumidifying rocks/crystals

I've been wanting to get some of these for a while but all that I've been able to find are refills that don't include a container to keep them in. (The refills are disc-shaped, about 10 cm in diameter.) There are pictures of different types of containers pictured on the box that the refill comes in, and it looks like they are all just vented plastic boxes. I was thinking I could make my own using old plastic containers and punching holes in them, but the wording on the refill box suggests that the rock needs to go into a special compartment. Does anyone know whether it would be okay to just put the rocks in a simple ventilated container, or does it need to be more complex? (Maybe elevating the rock on a rack somehow inside the container, that's what I'm thinking the special compartment the box mentions must be like.)

i've used them in the past and really liked the results.

yeah, the real container would be best.  the rocks do need to be elevated.  my first guess is a colander over a dish.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear they work. I'll keep looking for the original container, but if I can't find it soon, I'll put something together that elevates the disc like that.
