My due date is May 30 (charted religiously and therefore know this for a fact) but my ultrasound showed the baby measuring a few days smaller, more like June 2 I guess. anyway, I just know I'm going to wind up being like 2 weeks late. He is sooo not ready to come out anytime soon. Doc confirmed not dilated or effaced at all at Friday's appointment...

June 11 officially... But my babies cook fast and engage early, so this one, like my first, will probably want out before then!

(I've just passed my 37-week mark after lying low for a very long time. Don't think I can stand the messy house and unkempt garden much longer before I taunt this ripe cervix and these exertion-related contractions!)

Don't read the following if you are EXTRA sensitive and it's going to upset you too:

I had a "bad" dream last night. I was home and during my sleep, a foot and umbilical came out during my sleep. It was warm - so I guess baby was alive and fine. My prenatal yoga instructor came over and took me to the hospital (which looks so third world, no beds, just steel beds) for a Csec. I guess I had one, never saw the baby, or was waiting around for one. WEIRD! I couldn't get back to sleep for an hour.

I think it's just "birth anxiety" I am having. I might have to pay a private visit to my HypnoBirthing instructor for some stress/fear release session.

I think that sounds like a fabulous idea. Those pregnancy dreams can be so real and vivid, very disturbing. My dd was footling breech and I did have a c-section, so I think I lived your nightmare Heres to a beautiful vertex baby for you!

Well, based on LMP it's June 4.
Based on u/s it's June 10.
Based on my calculation since I was charting and going by o date it's June 14.

So I try to just say early to mid June, or the first or 2nd week of June in order to get myself to not fixate on a date.
But who am I kidding? The 4th is going to come and go and I'm going to be having a fit wondering where my baby is.

Thanks for the well wishes Kim. The midwife checked.... and of course, baby is head down (and boy am I carrying lowwwwwwwwww) and I can feel the feet kicking on my left side. I think everything will be fine!!!

But anyway, I just got my Maternity Portrait shots online if you care to take a peek! Overall, they came out great. Some awesome belly shots. I don't care for photos of myself with goofy grins (maybe one or two) but the ones of me & DS on our bed are beautiful!

I am so glad that your baby is in the perfect position!! I am checking out your pictures right now. We're having ours done on Saturday, so I am hoping this will give me some more ideas! Ok, can I just say, you are BEAUTIFUL!!!! Love them!!!!!!!
