It would depend on the condition of the diapers - how old they are, how long they were used, condition of the elastic and velcro, whether they are still effectively waterproof for the covers and AIOs, whether they have holes, tears, etc. If this is on-line, are there pictures of each item? If this is a local deal, can you examine them first? The prices seem reasonable IF the items are in good functioning condition without too much wear and tear.

I haven't heard of some of those, so I'd probably do some Googling to find out if they are brands that are generally liked or if they tend to have issues.  But then I'm admittedly a bit of a research fanatic. winky.gif

I googled some of them just to see what prices are for new ones.  Yes, it's local so I'm sure I can look at them to make sure they r good before paying.  They weren't used for very long-from waht she is saying.  I will ask about the condition beforehand just to make sure i don't waste time. I have some free cloth diapers from a couple people to pick up.  Are new ones worth paying for...?

If you are planning on more children, new can be worthwhile, but if you are not planning on other children and/or plan to use disposables as well, used might be more reasonable. I only have bought new, but our diapers have been through two babies already, with another coming. However, I sought out clearance sales, used discount codes, bought seconds from some companies or "bulk" packages, so I never paid the crazy prices many individual diapers cost new.

That's a good thing to think about. We may or may not have any other children-we aren't sure.  We will prob use disposables on trips and/or nighttime when she is older.  I'll have to check out sales. There's only one or 2 cloth diapering stores in the area. Do they ever sell them at consignment stores?

Our local children's consignment store often has used diapers - you'd just have to check with your local stores.
