I got mine on Etsy. It has definitely helped with teething and fussiness regardless of what other people have told me. It's always funny when someone who never tried it but just doesn't agree with a necklace on a baby will say about them.. from saying they DON'T work to it's all in my head. Yes, because I obviously don't pay enough attention to notice my child stops crying when he wears it and doesn't gnaw his fingers to mush when wearing it. LOL.

We love ours and my son will even ask to wear it!

My ds wears one 24/7.... I honestly haven't seen much of a difference in the 6 months he's been wearing his, but keep it on him hoping that eventually I'll have reason to eat my words.
We seem to be a minority though, so I do still recommend it to others myself with some caution. We got ours from Stork Organic Baby Boutique in Milford, NH.

I have heard there are some that are sold that aren't as good or work like others. I guess Inspired by Finn are supposed to be the best. I don't know enough about how they work to say good or bad but I do notice a difference when our son wears his.
Do you all get many comments about it? I get some weird looks especially being he is a boy and then I hear the worried people about a necklace on a baby. I like the look of it so even if it didn't work it's still pretty cute I think :)

I am undecided if they do or do not work BUT my almost 3yo has been wearing hers since she was ~6mo and never had any problems teething...other than some trouble sleeping here and there. I just got my 4mo old her very own & I think they are so beautiful I got a mama sized one. I shopped on-line and got it at Amber Artisans. They are custom and handmade to order. Their literature reports other immune benefits from wearing amber close to your skin, which I was unaware of. Happy shopping!

I wish I knew where I got mine that's on my DS2 right now. It definitely works! Alternating honey and cognac amber that is rounded polished baroque, and the beads are graduated, that is, smallest at the clasp, largest at the middle. I wasn't sure if it would work, but thought it would be a pretty heirloom conversation piece even if it didn't. He's the most happy baby ever... started teething (drooling and chomping) at 8 weeks old, I kid you not. I put it on him and the drool which was soaking bib after bib, really slowed down. His teeth didn't start coming through gums til this week, and he's 6 months now, and suddenly the drool came back but not too bad, and he had a slightly fussy day here and there, but not bad considering all 4 front teeth are coming in at once. The reason I know it works is, 4 times I took it off him, 3 times at DH's request, and once when I felt nervous at night. All 4 days following were the same type of baby who is fussy and can't be put down ever, as my first two kids. So my big question is, how much of his being so happy is the necklace, and how much is just him? And I joke all the time that I need an amber necklace too, so maybe I can be a happy funball also! I actually did decide that one for me would be my birthday present...and now I want to get one as a baby gift for my friend, who's expecting soon, and one also for my sis and mother's birthdays.

so here I am trying to see which are good places. I think Inspired By Finn was where I got mine because the name was familiar, and I know there are fakes out there, so I want to be sure I don't get anything fake. Being a skeptic, I put mine to many tests when I got it: the flame test, the bite test, and the floating it in supersaturated salt solution test. It floated in the salt water, but I figured so would plastic, but sure enough, the plastic assorted beads I threw into the same brine, sank, to my surprise. I thought plastic floats.
Â
Anyway, I am going to spend the extra money and get Inspired By Finn. Too afraid of getting fake stuff to risk an unknown cheapo.
