I went for my second u/s today (8 weeks) and they still could not find a baby. My OB called and said he's also concerned it could be a molar pregnancy so I'm getting another u/s Monday and will be meeting with him then.
DDCC to say I'm so very sorry. I had a molar pregnancy last year so feel free to PM if you like. If that is what it is (and I hope it's not), it was very frightening to me at first, but my very reassuring and professional doctor helped me process everything quickly and allayed a lot of my fears. In my experience, a lot of the information out there in pregnancy books is out of date or overly simplistic, and made the experience seem a lot more foreboding than it was for me in reality. For instance, a lot of books and websites still say you have to wait a year before trying again, but really the standard for most doctors is now six months, and much research now is saying three months instead of six months, depending on your individual circumstances.
At any rate, I hope I'm not jumping the gun by telling you that. I'm so sorry for your loss. :hugs
