I am seriously hitting walls trying to find a decent pediatrician in the CA state sponsored program; we have Anthem Blue Cross HMO.  

 

My 20 month daughter has had three pediatricians since she was born.  Her first doc gave her more vaccines than I requested her first newborn visit after telling me I was an "irresponsible parent" (lawsuit?), second doc told me I needed to seriously consider stopping breastfeeding her after 12 months and pushed vitamins like no one's business, and third doctor prescribed antibiotics for a virus (?).  Is it me, or do these doctors sound unqualified?  

 

My biggest concern is the last two doc had no interest in properly diagnosing/curing her irritated vaginal area, and I'm starting to worry since the redness has been going for 8 months (there is another thread here that I've sought help in).

 

Looking for DOs or a good MD in Healthy Families program!  (Would make the switch to Kaiser or HealthNet or whatever...)
