Help Seperating from hubby and need advice about my non vaccinated boys

Hi Ladies,

 I need some help and advice. I have never vaccinated my boys they are 1 1/2 and 2 1/2. I need to know when I try and go to court and divorce my husband and get custody of them how the whole not being vaccinated issue will pan out. My husband is ok with them not being vaccinated so he says but it may become an issue that he could use against me in court, I would'nt put it past him.

Who makes the decision in if they get vaccinated or not in a court setting?

Even though its going against the very grain of my beliefs should I begin delayed selected vaccination of my children? Would I benefit anyway with getting custody if I started to get them vaccinated?

I don't have personal experience in this, but based on various posts I have read:

• Don't bring up the vaccination issue preemptively; wait and see if he makes it an issue.
• If your children have not had regular check-ups, start now so you can document a history of healthy children and seeing a doctor for reasons that mainstream people would but you wouldn't normally think necessary.
• Check the CDC schedule and find out want vaccines would be required if you were ordered to vaccinate today.
• Consult the Dr. Sears book; make an alternate schedule based on the previous bullet.
• Know what measures you can take to mitigate the impact of the vaccinations (Dr. Sears talks about this a bit).
• If it looks like your dh would make this an issue in court, I would take them to their doctor and have your planned schedule made part of their record.

If it becomes an issue for a judge to decide you will likely be ordered to vax and probably not on your "preferred" schedule. You may also be viewed as the less responsible parent.

Ok so if both of us would be ok with keeping the kids unvaccinated i wouldnt be forced to vaccinate them against both of our wills right?  I could probably scare him enough that he wouldnt even bring up the subject.

During my divorce that never came up.  I got full custody though so none of that was even talked about.  In a regular divorce decree with shared custody it just states both plaintiff and defendant will share in decisions regarding medical, religious etc..has he ever been against it? 

You think he will bring it up?
