Amoxicillin during 2WW... is it safe?

I have strep throat and am pretty miserable.  I was prescribed amoxicillin, as the doctor said it was the safest to take if I might be pregnant.  But ladies, is it really safe to take in the 2WW?  Will it interfere at all with any implantation that might occur?  Anyone have any experience with it?  FYI - I'm 3-4 DPO, so waiting until AF would be pretty tough, since that's another 10 days away.

Thanks for your input!

Yes it's safe. I've been on it during the tww and during pregnancy itself. No problems.

They give it to people doing ivf so I would think it is safe.

I have bad reactions to antibiotics, they usually bring on my period. Amoxicillin is mild, but I took it for strep during the TWW with my second miscarriage. In my case, I feel the Amoxicillin contributed to my miscarriage. But, as I said, my body has strong reactions to antibiotics.

Thanks for the responses ladies!  It's always good to get opinions from people with first-hand experience... doctor's are great, but they don't know everything.
