Thanks for asking. Well, things didn't go as I had planned. Dd is not a morning person at all and this was too early for her. She went to sleep at 5 pm when we wanted to some rides a 2nd time. Dh and I had an argument over an unrelated issue first thing in the morn. :( Things like that. We also went pretty late as dh was tired and didn't want to go v. early although we had woken up to meet our original schedule. Dh is really not a 'crowd' person. He was complaining of the line at our v. first ride. Sorry, this is turning out to be a vent. Well, let's say he wasn't fun as company for a place like this.Even though I can see the commericalization of everything; every character is created to sell millions of toys and games, it had rides and things I enjoyed like Small World and the Tea Cups ride. If at all, I haven't ever bought characters for dd, she's got them as presents and we have accepted them. So, if ever an opportunity comes our way, I'd go back to do stuff that we couldn't -- the Mountain Splash was closed. The parade was v. difficult to watch as the sun was shining directly into our eyes and by the time we realized it, it was too late to move as there was nowhere to move to, even though we got there early as advised by What Next. Dh had work and had just this one day free or else we'd have definetly gone back.

Sorry to hear your day was less than 100% :(   I know I've certainly had park days that could have gone smoother, and for what we spend, we often feel entitled to have the PERFECT day.  I hope your memories get rosier with time, and that your family is willing to give it another shot someday.  In general, one day at Disney is exactly enough time to realize how much you won't get to do!
