Need some good Ideas for a scrap quilt

Thread Starter

I went through all my scraps today and now I would really like to use them up.  I'm thinking a string quilt of some sort.  I'd like some other ideas though.  My brain just isn't working too creatively tonight!  Any good tutorials online or patterns that are easy to use with scraps?  Most of mine are 2 inches square or bigger.

Check this out!  I made the everyday best with a whirlygig border and it is awesome!  I did get the book off the interlibrary loan- but the applique blocks are kind of simple to just draw out freehand!  Look at the show and tell quilts on the patterns tab- amazing quilts that are so fun and out of the box.  I am planning to make another everyday best out of more scraps.

This a good resource for free scrap quilt patterns. They are on the right hand column as you scroll down on this website. Lots of good ideas there....

I am posting again with another idea- I just finished a queen sized top with 12" crazy quilt blocks sashed in a black print with corner blocks in teal- it is so beautiful!  And really simple too!
