I found this when ds and I Googled information about cheetahs a while back.  I'm not trying to bash the school systems - they have a hard job! - but it can be very frustrating to be a parent of a child with exceptional abilities, and I thought I'd share it with people who understand.

Thanks for posting this. As much as I loved the GATE program I was in as a child, I hadn't been able to put words on some of the parts that bothered me until I read this.
