New in Illinois Valley area

 Not olny am I new to the mothering dot com community I am new to the nothern Illinios area as well. Actually I think they call this area the Illinois Vally, Plus I have a new baby...lots of newness for me! Anyway just wanted to intoduce myself and try to meet some new people. Being that we just moved and I have a 2 year old and a 3 month old it is hard to get out of the house to meet new friends face to face but I am trying. I thought at least I could make some friends here:)

A little about my parenting...

I breastfeed and babywear as well as cloth diaper. I like to follow my childs lead when it comes to their development and try to use gentle disciplen when it is needed. I connect more with attachment parenting style and currently we are sharing our bed with our youngest son. 

A liitle about me...

I enjoy reading, knitting, crocheting, sewing and most outdoor activities as well as cooking new foods and trying new recipies. We don't wtch much t.v. but when we do we watch Big Bang Theory, How I Meet Your Mother, Tosh.0, and I watch Desperate Housewives, Bothers and Sisters, and Greys Anatomy. Books that are on my nightstand right now are Parenting beyond Belief, The War on Moms, I'm a Mom Now What (for the second time), and The Lovley Bones (reading this for the second time too!)

I guess that is about it... oh and I'm a stay at home mom.
