What do you use for bath time soap for baby? We bathe our 3 month old and have used Dr. Bronners, but we are running low and am interested in trying something else that is all natural.

I love Little Twig. :)

We use Weleda for dd2.
We used/use California baby for dd1. I'll probably switch to that for dd2 once the weleda runs out, which could be a while.
I would look up some good ones on the EWG site.

I use California Baby wash that we use maybe once every week-10 days and I love it. I buy it from Target. I think it's about $7 but you only need such a tiny bit. I am still using my first bottle and DD is almost 10 months old! We only use it maybe once every 7-10 days, though. Hard water and winter makes a bad combo for baby's skin so we use it very sparingly. Even in summer we rarely used soap.

We don't use anything, just water. Infants and babies don't really need soap! I won't use anything on her until she's at the stage of playing outside and getting dirty, and then it'll be something like a little olive oil or the like to loosen gunk.

I normally dont use any type of cleanser unless its really necessary like pampie blowouts and such.  But we use a bar soap from whole foods in their 365 line.  Its fragrance/dye free pure organic vegetable glycerin soap.  Keeps skin wonderfully hydrated and its not filled with a bunch or artificial scents/dyes/chemicals just a bunch of pure organic oils plus its under $2 a bar!    They also have several other kinds with added things like chamomile, oatmean, olive oil but for the baby we stick with the clear one.

Right now I'm using the sample of J&J Baby Wash that I got from the hospital. I don't use it often though and I won't get more when I'm out.  I had a friend who used olice oil for both her and baby instead of soap. How do you do this? Do you keep it in the bathroom in the original bottle and use a little on a cloth each bat time?

Nah, I will have a little bottle in there and just use my hands. Nothing special! I don't use soap on myself either, I use Weleda cream baby wash on my "stinky parts" and that's about it. No shampoo either. smile.gif

i've only used dr. bronner's, diluted.

it's SO economical and gentle i haven't bothered to try anything different, so i can't help you on different products but cast my vote in the bronner pool.
