:( I am sad to report that Ravenswood Family Practice (home of no-vax friendly Dr. Mariela Cano) no longer offers lactation services :(
I called the IBCLC's number (her name is Jo Ann Allen, if anyone can find her i'll give you an e-hug, lol) and there was a recording that said they no longer offer lactation services but that their doctors would be more than happy to answer any breastfeeding q's and concerns.
This makes me so sad :( Jo Ann was awesome, she helped me with our horrible latch during the early days and with a nipple bleb at around 7mos. I called because a friend had a question.
Jo Ann did give me her cell phone number but I lost it :( Waaaah.
Okay, crying and rant over. No more IBCLC @ RFP. *sniff*.
But Dr. Cano is still awesome and did not in any way shape or form even mention vaxing @ our 12mo appt :)
