So just a quick, cute story about nursing a little one who can communicate (sort of). DH has been 'working' with DS (17 mo) on his talking/words. Yesterday, DH taught DS to say "Whoa!" when something exciting/big/special happens. So every night, DH gets DS dressed for bed and then holds him a snuggles a little while I get situated in the rocker and get out 'the nurse'. Last night I had my boob out, ready to go, and DS looks over DH's shoulder, points at my boob and says "Whoa!". He had the most joyous look on his face! It was so cute! It's definately the most excited anyone has ever been about seeing my boobs. The moral of the story is that if you are feeling down about your post-nursing/birth boobs, just show them to a 17 mo old and feel the magic.Â
