Unschooling support for those with older children

I'd really like some assistance in finding more unschooling support for families with older children (my older kids are 12 and 15-1/2). I know there must be some boards or email groups out there that are active.

I keep finding different areas on the net that I get excited about, only to go and find that they "older" children are maybe 7-10. Or that the "unschoolers" really aren't. Or that the areas just aren't very active.

I realize that with each passing year we seem to be more and more a minority.

I know there are some of you lurking around out there! PLEASE speak up!

I have a 14 year old dd that is a modified unschooler. Although I don't know of any email lists ect. Most of the stuff that I've read about teen unschoolers came from Growing Without Schooling.

What kind of support are you looking for? There do seem to be a fair number of parents of older kids here, although we are outnumbered a bit... but if you brought up a question perhaps folks would leap from the woodwork

A lot of the unschooling teens we know are campers (www.nbtsc.org) and I know there's an email list for camper parents. The home-ed list

has a lot of parents of older kids on it.

I guess by that age it seems that the kids are all pretty much doing their own thing. I know Rain IMs with a dozen or so 11-15 year old unschoolers most evenings, so they're out there...

TheUL definitely has parents with older children. That's whta I meant in my post above, byut was preoccupied, and didn't word it clearly.
