Range of Light or English FEs?

Thread Starter

If you had the opportunity to get an entire set of FEs (less than $200), would you choose the FES Range of Light set (1/4 oz) or the FES HealingHerbs set (1/4 oz)?

I am more drawn to the Range of Light flowers themselves (at least through pictures and by name) and I live in California and I LOVE the Sierra Nevada mountains. Technically, the Rockies are my absolute favorite mountain range, but the Sierras are my second favorite. I have the ROL set in my shopping cart along with the cards and a couple free brochures. I hesitated in clicking "buy now"...

The Healing Herbs set is the traditional English FEs how Bach intended them to be prepared and there is a LOT of literature around (including a book I just purchased). Plus, more people are familiar with these and will think of these first when I ask for assistance in selecting one (or a few) for a specific issue. I already own a handful of these (made by Nelson and another company), so that is part of my hesitation. Those would be duplicated and the way the kit works, I will end up with THREE five-flower blends and I already have two rescue remedy blends (as well as the one five-flower)... So, essentially FIVE of these and I rarely use them anymore... I mostly used RR with a cat who has since passed, but DD (age 9) sometimes reaches for it. Our young cat doesn't seem to have any need for FEs. Plus, I have stood in front of the Nelson Bach FE displays in various stores and not felt the desire to purchase any more than the ones I have. I haven't read anything about them nor have I seen pictures of the actual flowers, though, and both of those things are strong catalysts for me.

I cannot buy both and I am not likely to buy one now and the other later on (unless "later on" is a year or more from now... lol.gif).

How would you choose?

Would the lack of popularity and limited information stop you from buying the Range of Light set if you were strongly attracted to it?

Would you choose the most recognized set for the benefits of established information?

Thanks for any insight! love.gif

I am going to be facetious and say neither, but I am in a rather exceptional situation where I have access to over 1500 essences and elixirs for free! You have to go with what YOU are most drawn to. If it is the Range of Light flowers, then they are the ones you should have. Whichever you choose will be perfect anyway, you aren't going to make a mistake.

Good luck!

ETA: I didn't answer your all your questions

No, it wouldn't bother me in the least. Flowers work beyond the mind, so going on intuition based on the appearance of the flower is sufficient and perfectly valid.

The established information on Bach Flowers is limited by the knowledge and understanding of Edward Bach and the era he lived in. There is so much more to the English Flowers than Bach was ever able to bring through. So don't be tied down by the traditional descriptions of the flowers.

THANK YOU for sharing your thoughts!!!! love.gif

I thought about it early this morning (or rather left the space open for thoughts to come) and I came to the same conclusion. It was further reinforced after reading Bach's Heal Thyself book. I liked his book a lot. Of the many things I took away from it, one is I rely more heavily on my brain or thinking capacities and I'd like to develop my spiritual connection and intuition more. I've actually felt this way for awhile and have taken baby steps towards this. Reading his book reminded me. And, I am really drawn to the Range of Light FEs and I can follow that with or without known resources and guidance. It is a leap of faith in a way for me.

Now winky.gif what WOULD you choose? I'm curious....

Of the two? Neither, as I said. Not because they aren't wonderful, but they don't resonate with me. I am blessed to have the entire range of Pegasus Products essences at my disposal, and any combination I could want. I am currently taking and enjoying a formula DH made especially for me (though now it is available to others) called "Clearing Karma". I had some old stuff surface out of blue quite recently that I would like to put well and truly behind me.

Oh boy, now I am in a quandry... I am really into chakras and practically the first thing I saw on the pegasus site is a set of 12 chakra elixirs... Winning the lottery sounds good right about now! lol.gif

Okay, I have read about Australian Bush flowers, English flowers, Range of Light flowers, North American flowers, and the Pegasus chakra elixirs. Whew! I can eliminate English and North American simply because they don't resonate with me. The other three, though, resonate!!!! However, I decided on the Range of Light at this time because they were the strongest connection and the only way to get them is in a kit and that kit happens to be in my price range now and is not normally. I can get the Australian Bush flowers singly whenever the mood strikes and the chakra elixirs will need to wait for another chunk of change to come my way.

So excited!!! love.gif

Thanks!

can't wait to hear your response!  I also love hearing what people are draw to.  I am personally very drawn to the English essences and to the Australian.  Beyond that there are other essences I'm very drawn to, but in terms of entire lines those take the cake for me.

Yay for your first foray into essences!

I agree....others have developed it...but not to any great capacity.  They do SO much more than they are recognized to.

I'll have to take a look at the pegasus star elixirs. I have always loved stars, as a kid I was reading lots of books about the Universe, stars and planets, always dreaming about visiting some distant galaxies. I remeber myself sitting at the window, staring at the moon crying, because I knew I would never go there  redface.gif

the stars are AMAZING.  I wish I had more of an aptitude for them.  Hopefully Mizram can weigh in.  I love love love them.

I'm looking at the star elixirs now, I instantly liked the charra elixir.

There are so many, my head is spinning  nut.gif

They really are. But I can't say I am anywhere close to an expert. I do know I have found them to be very, very powerful. One star Betelgeuse (fears eased) changed my life, it helped me get past the fear of not being able to leave my ex which lead me to find my way to DH. love.gif My username is also one of my very favorite stars: accepting miracles, allowing the magical into your life.

I've looked at the pegasus products yesterday, I'm trying to find something for DS but the number of elixirs is overwhelming.

Mizram could you ask your husband what would he recommend for a child who is having problem with transition?

DS was delivered via C section, I think he wasn't ready to be born. He wants me to pretend I'm pregnant, crawls under my shirt and pretends he's inside my belly, he also wants me to draw pregnant women. He started doing it over a year ago and doesn't stop so this clearly is a big issue for him.

I can't answer for the elixirs, but there are many flowers that are excellent for this.  HOWEVER Mizram's husband does do consults and is incredibly good at pinpointing issues.  He then sends a custom made blend.  I highly recommend him, and have used him myself.  He may have a response, but as with all energy medicine there are likely to be more than one applicable star/planet/gem/flower etc and you may get more mileage, so to speak, if he knows the whole picture.

Which flowers would you recommend? I tried honeysuckle with other FEs (pendulum confirmed), I think this wasn't enough.

I'd love to do a consult about star/planet/gem/flower elixirs but $$ is too tight right now so I'm trying to figure things out on my own.
