The 2WW - Calling all testers for the week of January 16-22ish - Page 3

I'm so sorry about the BFN gale... and to the ladies who got AF.  hug2.gif I'm still trying to hold out until tuesday, I should probably wait even till wed.

Oh man, I'm having such a hard time holding out! I told myself I wouldn't test until Monday, but my temp went back up today and now I'm feeling like there might be a chance again! I also found out that the internet cheapies I've been using have a pink handle instead of a blue handle, which apparently means they're not as sensitive (or an "early" test). Maybe that explains my BFNs? Either way, FF has AF marked for today, and no sign of her yet (15dpo). Am I crazy to be hopeful again? Guess I'll find out. :) Keep me strong ladies--must wait till the 17th!

You ladies that are holding out have waaaaay more strength than I do! Can't wait to see some bfps!

So I had a temp dip this morning (7 dpo) and kind of let myself think implantation...but I think what happened is I took the thermometer out before the beep :(  Because for funzies I temped like an hour ago and got 99.5, so there probably shouldn't have been a dip at all.  CHART

I went ahead and tested this morning instead of waiting.  I bought a 3 pack test, so decided what the heck.  It was BFN.  I figured it would be since it is just our first cycle trying.  But I've had tingling nipples (like milk let-down) since 2DPO, which I haven't experienced since I stopped BF, and have never had during my cycle before.  So, I was feeling a little hopeful (without trying to get too hopeful).  Probably the tingling nipples are just because it is so darn cold here! smile.gif

FF says my test day would be Monday, but really AF should be due tomorrow (Sunday).  I thought today was close enough to test based on the statistics listed on the test insert  (87%, I believe).   So, it seems there is a pretty good chance I'm not pregnant.   I've got all of my usual AF symptoms.

Basically I'm ok with the BFN my first round of trying for #2, but the only thing that is a bit disappointing is that if I did conceive this cycle, the baby would come before my 40th birthday.  I know it doesn't really make any difference if I'm 39 or 40, but I kind of wanted to have all of my children before I was 40.  That is just a silly little hang up, though.  I'll be happy for #2 whenever the time is right for him/her.

I'm looking forward to hearing some BFP this week from others here!

I am 10 dpo and should have known it would be a negative but my curiosity got the better of me. I have a 3 pack so my plan is to test every 2-3 days. My temps are still high but I have no real symptoms except some occasional cramping.

Good luck to all you ladies!

You can add me..I'm testing starting the 20th if my internet cheapies arrive in time! I am obsessed with POAS, so there will probably be many tests from the day these arrive!

TTC after 3 losses...and last try for us.

Thanks!

Marcie

Today is 7dpo, and to be honest I'm not feeling too preggers-noticed my boobs are bigger, have more discharge and I'm really short tempered-and constipated! So hopefully, these are good signs...we'll see!

Wondering if I am preggo? Period is 6 days late (as I am not testing this time), tired a lot, peeing often, and today at MIL house, felt quite nauseated. Had a nap and felt miles better. I am almost going to say "It's official, I must be pregnant!" But I am still skeptical. Drat the waiting!!!!! Tomorrow will mark a week late for the period, which is a pretty good sign that I am indeed with child...I will update tomorrow! I can't wait to see some BFPs!!! Post them big so they stand out!!

Gale - I've got nothing but lots of hugs for you!  I'm sorry.  hug2.gif

Also sorry for those with BFNs and AF.

Welcome to Gabesgrrrl, and good luck!

asparague - I don't know where you get your willpower!  Since you don't plan to test, will you just go to the doctor to confirm??

AFM - Well, according to FF I'm 15dpo.  My temps have been a bit weird (dipped low on Saturday, assumed I was out, but rebounded high on Sunday, and now back to normal LP range).  I'm still not terribly hopeful, expecting AF any minute. Here's my chart, if you want to take a peek:  www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2e5d89

I've updated that chart below... let me know if I missed anything.  I'm hoping to update it with some BFPs later this week!!!!

I would like to join. I am in my second 2ww within 9 months of trying. My first 2ww ended up being like 4 weeks so that sucked. Hopefully this will be it. I will be testing on the 21st or 22nd which will actually only be dpo 10, but I love to test so i know I will not make it 14 days. I am sorry to see all the bfn and hopefully some ladies will get some bfp's soon. Baby dust to all.

Val your chart looks great to me!

Asprague, any news?

AFM:  Just not feelin it.  Don't think this is our month at all.  No cm, no sore bbs, no emotional outbursts, no cramps..nothing.

I'm hoping to see some BFPs soon!  dust.gifstork-suprise.gif

Dear All,

This wasn't it for me after all. Although we weren't officially trying, it still devastated me, which only you would understand.

As DH doesn't want to TTC, I thought this was my only chance. I had all the symptoms, even my temp were high, but AF came anyway.

well, I just have to be patient and pray that DH will come to his senses some day...

hugs to all.

jojobean - I know what you mean, I haven't been feeling it this 2ww either.  Actually, I didn't even feel it before the 2ww.  This has been a very "blah" cycle for me.  But hopefully "not feeling it" is what we need to get our BFPs!!

ZoeJane'sMommy - Welcome!  I've got you added to the list.

veroxara - hug2.gif  I'm so sorry!  I definitely understand the pain.  I do hope that DH comes around soon for you!

Hey ladies, just popped in to check on you all.

Last month I dumbly tests at 10 DPO, got AF at 11 DPO. So... determined not to do that again, I am trying hard to wait this time. 13 DPO today and so far I am holding out until tomorrow. I wish I charted or temped, that would give me something besides the calendar to stare at.

Just had to tell someone not IRL this funny story: DH is the one who sort of instigated this decision to 'try' this time around (other two pregnancies were unexpected). So I have been, I thought, keeping him fairly up to date on my cycle, etc. I mentioned today that I'd be testing in the next couple of days. And he said something to the effect of, "Well, wait until we give it a couple more tries before you do." Although I realized this was his lame attempt to prompt some extra bd'ing, I was still seriously scratching my head. I was like, "You do know that we can't get pregnant by trying, like, today, right?" He was totally serious that we should give it a few extra tries.

I had to patiently say, do you have any idea that I am fertile for a few days at most each month and they were 2 weeks ago?!?!

Oh, he says, well, did we try then? Yes, I said, and I told you at the time when the window was, we had a whole conversation about it. Um, are we living in the same house?

No, he didn't know this.duh.gif I know he is a guy, but in 37 years he didn't figure out that there is a time delay between conceiving and taking a pregnancy test? I mean, how to you avoid that in every romantic comedy plot in the movies?  Sigh.

Well, I'll probably be testing tomorrow now, although it's a back to work day, so probably not during the hectic morning...

Good luck to everybody still waiting!

How's everyone doing? Sorry to see there were a number of BFNs, but I know some of you are still in for the count!

veroxara, I completely understand, especially when you really think it's happening! Who knows, maybe as you share this devastation with DH it will sway him and help him see how important TTC is to you.

Val, what's the word? Tomorrow is test day--I'll be praying over some BFP dust to you! Looking good so far, hopefully it's not just the Clomid. :)

mamabutterfly, you had me cracking up! Why do I have a feeling your DH is not at all in the minority about thinking things happen that way? My DH knows we're "trying" to get pregnant, but I definitely don't think he gets the timing of everything. I figure, why stress him out--he has no problem doing his part (heehee) even if he doesn't fully get the timing. :)

AFM, I tested this morning and got a BFN. I was really disappointed, and now I'm nervous that my body is going back to another three-month-long cycle. I'm really hoping that if I'm not pregnant, then AF will arrive soon so I can start round two. Still somewhat high temps though--is it ridiculous to think that there's just not enough HCG there yet to warrant any lines? I'm thinking the odds are pretty low. My stomach still feels weird though...hopefully it's at least pre-AF symptoms. I don't think I can stand waiting three more months before AF comes!

BFP!!

I am totally pregnant! No period, all the symptoms of pregnancy, including pants that are not fitting and uncomfortable abdomen. Things are happening quickly! Good luck to all of you who are trying, hopefully I see some of you on the Sept boards!!

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Congrats to you!!
