I'm not sure what that means. My daughter is seven years old and suffered from eczema horribly. I took her to the dermatologist, only to go home with prescriptions for creams. Ugh. Finally, I read a book that talked about how most eczema is the result of an allergic reaction. I started cutting out foods to try and figure out what she was allergic to. After a couple of months, her eczema was gone, and I'd figured out it was from soy and birch pollen (many foods cause a cross-reaction). I wanted to make sure I was right (really to see if there were any more foods) so I brought her to an allergist for a prick test. The doctor determined she is allergic to soy, birch pollen, grass pollen (4 of them), oak, sycamore, ash and maple. The cross-reactive fruits/vegetables to birch and grass pollen are peach, apple, plum, cherry apricot, strawberry, pear, almond hazelnut, potato, carrot, celery, tomato, melon, and watermelon. The pollen cross-reactive foods have been hard to avoid, but soy is the hardest thing to keep out of her diet. I now buy special bread, flour...
