Evenflo "Embrace" carseat any good?

Hello, I am due in march and just started pulling the baby stuff out. It says not to use the carseat after dec. 2010, so I need to buy a new one.  I was wondering if anyone has a ny experience with the evenflo embrace. I was thinking graco snugride but it costs more and we are really strapped for cash for the next few months.

There are better choices.  The Evenflo requires the handle to be up and 1.5" clearance between the carseat and the front seat, so it's very difficult to fit in any but the biggest cars.

If money is really tight, skip the infant seat.  Get a Cosco Scenera for $45 (it fits most average-size, full-term, newborns nicely) and you can use it for about three years, as opposed to a $75 infant seat that will last about six months.
