I'm looking for resources; websites, movies, books, anything, for a 8 year old.  My attempts to explain the Civil Rights movement and MLK have been kind of pathetic.  We have been doing history chronologically and are currently up to the Middle Ages.  I did do an unit for Thanksgiving and would like to do the same for MLK.  

 

DS knows the very basics (who MLK was, he was assassinated, and a little bit about segregation).
