Hip Joint Pain

I'm almost 25 weeks along, and my hips are extremely painful. With my previous pregnancies I had pain in the back of my hips, and right after my son was born I had bursitis in my left hip right at the joint. Now the joints on both side hurt so much it's difficult to sleep. It doesn't hurt during the day just when I'm in bed. It's almost impossible to sleep, and I toss and turn so much it's almost impossible for my husband to sleep either. I thought about getting a body pillow, but I'm not sure how effective it would be, besides we only have a queen-sized bed and I don't know if it will fit with my husband and I sleeping together. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions or suggestions?

I am having the same problem at almost 26 weeks.  I feel like I haven't had a good night's sleep in a month.  Walking around makes it a little better, but after awhile even that starts to hurt.  I have been sleeping with a large pillow between my legs and it's helpful, but not always.  I find putting a heating pad on my hips is helpful too.  Sometimes I take acetominephen if the pain is really bad.  I did get an exercise ball to sit on instead of a chair and find that very helpful.  I thought doing yoga or stretching would help but it makes it much worse for me.  Someone in my DDC recommended this book:

No advice, but I'm reading this thread--my pain hasn't been too bad aside from one or two nights. Otherwise it's more of a stiffness/annoyance, but definitely noticeable.

 A pillow between the legs at night while sleeping definitely helps me!
