am i pregnant?!?

Of course, not assuming that any of you are doctors, but I'm getting all giddy after two faint positive tests and trying to make sense of this.  I had a m/c starting on Nov. 21 and got my first period on Dec. 19.  I've been reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and half-assed the cervical mucous monitoring, and didn't botherto take basal temps any of the days.  I had sex around the time I thought I was ovulating (which would have been ~12/31-1/2).  About a week ago (which would have been very shortly after conception) I got MAJOR heartburn that hasn't gone away, I've been contionuously nauseated, had a couple of dizzy spells, and tender breasts.  I took one hpt on Sunday, 1/9/11 and it was negative.  This mornign I took an e.p.t. that tests 6 days before missed period and it had a faint positive line.  This afternoon I took a test from Dollar Tree (which I read on a TTC forum tests at ~20 mcg Hcg) and it was also faintly positive.  I'm TTC, but shocked that two tests would show it so soon!  I have felt fullblown pregnant for more than a week now and part of me has jsut known, but the other part is in denial and afraid that I'm getting my hopes up again, which I am afraid to do after losing the last one.  Could it possibly be?!?!

It doesn't matter how positive the HPT is... a positive is a positive!  Maybe you O'ed earlier than you thought and are farther along than you thought.

Yes! There is no such thing as a false positive. It either detects HcG or not. You can have a false negative (when you test too early to detect levels of HcG). I am thinking you are definitely preggo!!

My Gosh, we are totally in sync. I had a m/c in Nov (at least I believe it was one, because AF was 1 week late and heavy), and then I had reg. AF on Dec 18. Then I O-d either 31st or 1st. We are not TTC at the moment, but had had SERIOUS IF problems. We were just not "careful" enough on the 1st thinking there's no way I could get pg. About a week ago I had a major nausea spell, and have been nauseous ever since. My breasts are definitely bigger than usual. So basicaly I am sure something is up. (I have been pg 5 times, and have 2 kids who took a looooong time to conceive). But I just don't dare take a hpt. I have seen so many neg.s that if I took one before AF was at least 4 days late, I know I would just dissapoint myself. So at the same time I am sure I'm pg, and I'm sure, I'm not. One thing I know, is that I have never had a faint line and not be pg.

I'm really hoping that this is it for you, and I hope that my dream of "conceiving naturally without knowing it" comes true.grouphug.gif

Thanks so much to all of you and veroxara you're in my thoughts right now; hoping we can be pregnancy buddies :)  I've just felt pregnant for about two weeks, but part of me is so afraid and anxious after going through the m/c.  We were so excited and didn't even think that would happen to us that it is hard for me to let my guard down and get too excited just yet.  I bought a ClearBlue digital tonight because I needed to see the words Pregnant or Not Pregnant and....Pregnant, of course :)  I'm doing everything I can think of to will this one into sticking around.  I've been taking b-12 drops for my energy for a few weeks, folic acid, zinc, and red raspberry leaf pills.  I'm also thining of leaving my current job (i'm a nanny for two nightmarish children) because I jsut really don't want that stress or the long hours anymore.  My goal is to be as healthy, stress free, and well rested as possible.  Good luck to all of you!

Once I read in a pg book that after a m/c you have more chance to stay pg. So I think you will be just fine! I'm so happy for you. As for me, no AF yet. She could still come tomorrow, so the earliest I will test is Sunday. Right now my boobs are like...wow. Even DH commented about them...LOLenergy.gif
