Sandy's ordering dilemma!

DD is outgrowing her Small Sandy's. They still do up, but are low on the rise and she pees though them really quickly!

I can't decide what size  AF cover to get with the Large Sandy's. We have one Large Sandy's with a Large AF cover, and they fit (bulky, but the smallest snap size is tight enough to prevent leaks). I'm amazed that they are rated for 27lbs, as she only weighs 18lbs and the Small AF covers still fit on the largest settings (slight gap at the thigh, and loose on the waist at the loosest snaps).

Is it worth getting the ML size AF covers?

Also, I'm deliberating between the Unbleached and the coloured diapers.

I have purple right now (which is quite blue, really) and I like being able to pick them out quickly from the pile of unbleached prefolds and unbleached fitteds. But, I may not get any more fitteds in this size, so they'd all be the same, except the MEOS, which use the same covers. And all the other gender-neutral colours seem so bright! Will they show through the light-coloured covers?

What do you think?

No idea on colours as we've always used the organic unbleached cotton or bamboo sandies.

As far as covers go we got pretty good use out of our M/L covers with our medium and large sandies. I've just started to transition DD to large covers now at 18 months and almost 25 lbs. The M/Ls actually still fit fine, but they are getting a little short so for night time the larges give better coverage.

Hope that helps!
