My 3yr old can do all of those things, some he has been doing for a while.

My 5 yo can do some of that.

He has definite, observable issues with fine-motor movements.  He's also very energetic and easily frustrated, so we're working on them slowly.  I don't know of a connection--his actual math skills are way beyond grade level, but he is held back a little because he's not reading fluently yet.

My now 5 year old can do everything on that list.  Bugttons bget tricky but he can do them.  He can read OK so I'm p[retty sure he could recognize days of the week but I never actaully asked him.  However my now 8 year old could do very little on that list when she was 5.  She does have some sensory issues and she has made huge strides in her learning since we switched to Feingold but still often resists indepndence whereas my 5 year old loves to learn how to do things on his own.

Ps we homeschool, too.

My son is not quite 5 and he can do everything except the days of the week and he's not good at manipulating objects. When dd was 5 she couldn't do the last 4, but she does have learning disabilities, so that isn't very helpful.  DS 1 could do all of that.

Basically, my kids fell into a wide range of abilities when they were 5.

i said all but the written days of the week. it's possible he can do that though. they might do it at school. they do a lot of stuff with days of the week and time and stuff. in french and english, i believe. he's a really independent 5 yo (he's done these things since around 4 yo at least though.) he might have trouble with buttons; buttons and snaps are tough for kids! sometimes i help kids in his class with snaps when i'm waiting for him to be done getting ready to go.
