Calliope arrived 9 minutes after we got to the hospital, narrowly escaping my fear of a highway roadside birth. 3:26 am, 7 lbs, 3 oz, 19.5 inches. Hour and a half labor, my dp managed to get me and 2 of our (excited and alert) boys here in time...thank goodness. We are happily in love, she nursed for an hour right off the bat. I was 37 weeks and change, was expecting to go into February from my late Jan due date, but I am relieved to hold her in my arms early!!! All is well with the universe!
