Trim, thin dipe for a baby on the move?

Thread Starter

DD is starting to be a lot more mobile these days, and I'm noticing that certain bulkier diapers are getting in her way when she's having floor time. The swaddlebees  AIOs and pockets seem to not be as bad, but I'm wondering if there's an even better option out there. Specifically, I'm wondering if a fitted dipe with wool (kissa or dasani style) is going to allow her more freedom of movement, have less bulk between her legs and on the backside, etc.

Hit me with any ideas ladies! Are fitteds/wool my best bet? Which fitted dipes are trimmest? And if I should stick with pockets, which are your faves?

Also, out of curiosity, does anyone have a lead on some very very trim and narrow inserts that might solve my problem and allow me to keep using my pockets?

TIA!

How about Joey-Bunz hemp inserts?  Super-thin and absorbent.

A flat kite folded and snappied, with a thirsties cover, is as trim as a disposable on my girl.

I bought one of the new FuzziBunz One Size diapers with a Joey Bunz hemp insert and it's awesome! The OS are already trimmer in the crotch than other pocket diapers, and the hemp makes the whole diaper trimmer in general than the microfiber. Plus, the hemp lends more absorbency and no compression leaks to worry about! I want more of them.

I find that a snappied prefold with a PUL cover is very trim and gives DS a lot of room for movement.
