Waiting is the Hardest Part! (Rant during your 2WW)

Thought I would start a thread about the hardest part in conceiving, WAITING!!

I haven't tested yet, but I am going crazy waiting for it! My husband doesn't want me to waste money on testing, because in his mind, if I am preggo, I will know with the absence of my period! Ugh, I just am not that good at waiting. I was supposed to get my period on Monday the 10th, but I have been known to be up to a week late. I just want to test so I can say either, "Yes! I am pregnant!" or "Drat, I guess it is time to try again next month." My husband has no idea the complete torture it is to wait another week for my period. It is like second guessing my intuition the whole time, thinking, "I really think I am pregnant this time! But wait, if I get my period I am going to feel like an idiot!"

Anyone else tired of waiting? Please feel free in joining me in this rant!

I'm ranting about weird cycles and late O!  Who needs that?  Added uncertainty and not really knowing WHEN you're late!  Boo... hiss!

Waiting does stink. Whether it's waiting to O or waiting to know, it stinks big time. I'm in a good mood now though since I finally O'd on cd 31. Woohoo! Now to be patient for the next 10 days...

I'm doing a different kind of waiting, but I had to join the rant. I'm waiting to even START TTC because I just had my Mirena taken out on the 7th. I've read about a lot of women conceiving right away and then miscarrying, so we're waiting until March to start trying. Just knowing that the only thing stopping me from getting pregnant is not having sex is complete torture. It would be so easy to just do it, but we're trying to be smart. I can't imagine what it will be like when we do start trying and I have to wait to test. I feel your pain, ladies.

Oh wow, I never thought about that kind of waiting. I have never done the birth control thing, I had no idea it had that kind of wait time attached! I completely feel for you, although I couldn't imagine waiting til March!! After that wait, you will be all set for the 2WW we are complaining about. Stay strong!

Just to update,  I still haven't got my period! If I had tested would I know by now? Ugh, I will wait until Monday to really start thinking I am preggo. Still an absence of period feelings. Also meeting with midwives this week. Met a couple yesterday and meeting with the final one in our area this morning. It will be hard to make a choice, but I am comforted by the fact that I can always change my mind in the middle of my pregnancy (like I did last time). Veronika01- Man I hate it when that happens! I am just waiting for my period to show up a week late and kill my hope! Good luck for next month though!!

i hate the wait. i have decided to not have any preg tests in the house because i will inevitablly decide to use them even if i KNOW its too early. i'm kind of embarrassed by my lack of self-control not mention, oh you know, throwing reason to teh wind. ok so not buying anymore tests until its time. i hate the wait!
