Hi all, this is my first year of homeschooling my dd who is 6.5 now. She is doing mostly Kindy but a little 1st grade. I have skipped around a lot this year just mixing and matching things and currently we are using the Learn at Home Kindergarten book most of the time. I have learned that since I'm totally new at this, I need something to lay it all out there for me and tell me what to do every single day. Otherwise I skip around and just don't feel like it's working for my dd. She is a very sensitive, high spirited, right brained, amazing little girl. We often butt heads and I'm constantly learning how she best learns.

Anyway, I will be having a new baby this spring and know that I need a good curriculum for next year. I need something that is pretty inclusive and that lays every days lessons out for me and tells me exactly what to do. Otherwise we just will not get schooling done. I know that about myself. We're not sure we'll homeschool forever so my dd needs to be at her correct level if she ever goes back to school. It also can't be outrageously expensive or super duper involved. We can't be doing school all day long, we will need lots of breaks with a new baby and my 3 yr old. The 6 yr old also isn't able to sit still for very long either so something that is fairly quick. Can you all give me some suggestions of curriculum's you love and why you like them?

TIA!!!!!
