Belly binding?? - Page 2

I had a binder for after my c-section and I loved the support it gave me. I am planning a VBAC this time--I bought a medela (sp?) brand binder which only came in S/M or L/XL. I bough the L/XL and have some Velcro to adjust it if I need too.

so i never did this with my first two would it still help me with number 3?

ok... so a question for you mama's who have used them-- (esp c-section mama's) how did you get them on and off pp? were you able to wrap your self or did you need help? It was so painful for me to get mine on and off--especially every time I used the bathroom.

I didn't have a c-section but I just put it on and off. IT just wraps to your side (or at least, the one I was using did).

Also, I never used it for my first two kids. I used it on my third and it still worked great!

I asked about this among friends and one is going to send me one to use.  Why not?  Thanks for the heads up mamas!

Posted this back in October and thought I'd repost because of how much I believe in this product:

I also used a Belly Bandit (just stopped a week ago actually). Greatest investment I could have made, I look better now than I did before i delivered and I think its because of that product. My girlfriend tried ace bandages but they were too loose and didn't compress. She is 3 weeks pp and is buying the Belly Bandit because of how i look! I need a great cream for stretch marks though, anyone know of a good brand?

Here's what I just bought for my belly: http://www.amazon.com/Gabrialla-Breathable-Elastic-Abdominal-Binder/dp/B000WFT3II/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1295245099&sr=8-1  The reviews contain lots of good information.

For my hips, I bought this: http://www.allegromedical.com/orthopedics-orthotics-c528/body-shield-trochanter-belt-p563048.html There weren't any reviews, but the description seems good. Plus, the price is reasonable.
