That is a LOT of girls! It will be really interesting to see what the final results are after everyone is born! I wonder if we'll stick with the 51% boy/49% girl that is average.

I'll hopefully know tomorrow!

Well I had my first feeling Sunday that baby is a boy, so that could even it out.

For sure and most of the ladies in our DDC haven't posted/found out/decided not to find out about their babes sex.

After updating our messy roster, which was a tedious task (involving moving a handful of mamas who lost their babies, among other things) we have this many babies in waiting

Make that  a ...  baby is in a breech position and the butt/genitals were the first thing to be shown on the u/s.  I feel so bad about being disappointed with yet another boy, but this is our last and my last chance to have a baby girl.  I'm kind of happy we did find out this time, so I have time to get excited about being a mom of three boys!

  I don't think it's wrong to have a preference.  It's only bad if you hold not being a girl against your LO, which it doesn't sound like you'll be doing! 

Your last sentence is why I'm starting to think maybe we won't be Team Green, after all.  DH and I have both said "I want a boy" AND "I want a girl" - IDK about DH, but I flip flop depending on what baby stuff I've been looking at.  :)  His reasons are probably more practical.  But I'd hate to be in a "oooh, girl" phase at the birth and then have a boy (or vice versa).  "Ruining the surprise" would definitely be better than the possibility of even a moment of disappointment ON my baby's birthday.

Also, 3 cheers to Kawa for keeping the baby-count AND updating the roster!  You rock!

Hehe Perfect!   When I let my 83 yo grandma know she'd be having her third great-grandson, she told me "You don't want girls. They're obnoxous!"  I laughed SOOO hard! She told me stories of she and her sisters (3 of them in 4 yrs at the end of a big family of boys) and it was so funny!  I love girls, but I'll get my girly fix from my surrogate daughters. And my sister is due 3 weeks after me, and maybe she'll have a girl! LOL

I had three boys in a row. My third son just got home with his beautiful, blonde, front tooth missing head. I wouldn't trade him, the lessons he has taught me or the love he has shone upon me for a hundred girls. All mamas I know who grapple and grieve with never having a daughter or having a boy at all end up head over heels for their perfect baby boy.
